Parent/teacher interviews are important because they enable parents to understand their child's progress.  It allows teachers to gain an additional understanding of the students that they teach.  As such they value it highly.  By having the individual student present at these interviews, the student is able to speak about any concerns that he/she has and know exactly what his/her teachers and parents expect.

We look forward to discussing your child's learning and progress on the night.
