Term 2, PE and Sport Update

With the return of face to face classes in week 5, Sport and PE classes will resume with special guidelines and restrictions for Term 2. One important change involves how we use our change rooms and our protocols for students wearing the school PE uniform. For the remainder of Term 2 students will be permitted to wear their full PE uniform (with their normal enclosed leather school shoes) to school on the days students have Sport and PE. Student will be asked to bring their sport shoes in a separate bag and change these before sport/PE outside in their designated meeting area. This is so students are not changing together in shared change rooms as per the updated guidelines. We anticipate this will be for this term or until we are given another update. Students need to still wear fully enclosed leather shoes to school in order to meet the WHS requirements for their practical subjects.  For further information on the guidelines and adjustments to PE and Sport at GPHS please see the attached document
