Driving and parking

The start and end of the school day are busy times for pedestrians and drivers outside schools.

When driving and parking near our school, please:

• ensure you park safely in school zones
• follow speed signs
• do not make U-turns or 3-point turns outside the school.

Parking on school grounds

Over the upcoming school holidays, new security gates will be installed on the school site. These gates will remain closed during school hours and will allow access only to staff members. This measure has been introduced to enhance the safety and security of our students and staff while on the school grounds.

As a result, parents and caregivers will no longer be able to drop off or pick up students within the school grounds from the first day of Term 4. Entry to the school site during the day will be accessible only through the front pedestrian gate, which leads directly to the Administration block and front office.

If you have previously been entering the school site for drop off or pick up, we kindly ask that you arrange an alternative meeting place with your child outside the school grounds. A reminder that the Bus Bay is not to be accessed by cars and stopping on the Glenmore Parkway around the school is not permitted therefore the car parks in Ched Towns Reserve or near the shops facing the front of the school would provide the best options.
